In Ancient Hindu Mythology, Himaja means “SHAKTHI” which means “Power”. We would like to mould your children into powerful disciplined Educated individuals.

The management of Himaja Educational & Rural Development Association (HERDA) was informed with the view to provide quality education to the people of Puttur and Surrounding Mandals. HERDA established Himaja English Medium School on the 6th June 1996 with classes Nursery to V Standard and upgrading every year class by class into High School in the year 2000.
